Upgrade project for the vessel owner. Vessel had been through a number of minor upgrades by the previous owner, andwas now a bit of a mix, which didn't function well. Radar only at the lower helm, VHF only on the flybridge being a good example! KME proposed and specifiedan all new dual station, networked, Radar/Chartplotter system. This was to be interfaced with the existing instruments and autopilot.
A dual station VHF system and AIS transceiver was added to complete the system. The existing console faces had to be removed and replaced with new, Walnut effect at the lower helm and white aluminium on the flybridge.
