Moody 54 Refit prior to Circumnavigation

This project ended up quite a bit bigger than first anticipated due to numerous problems not spotted by the Surveyor who carried out the pre-purchase survey for the owners!

Navigation Systems

• Raymarine dual E80 Radar Chartplotting System
• Echopilot Forward Looking Sonar displayed on both E80's
• EasyAIS AIS receiver displaying AIS targets on both E80's

Communications Equipment

• Iridium Satellite Telephone system with email
• Icom M801 HF/MF Transceiver with Pactor modem for email via SailMail
• Standard Horizon Dual Station VHF

Power Management Systems

• Twin BP Solar 125watt Solar panels mounted on custom arch over aft deck
• DuoGen dual function towed/wind generator
• Sterling PDAR Advanced Alternator Regulator fitted to main 24V Leece Neville Alternator.
• Victron MultiPlus Combined Inverter/Charger providing 230vac.

Other Stuff

• WaterMaker, remove, arrange specialist to over haul, and refit on return.
• Bilge and shower Pumps.
• Remove Electric Davits, strip prior to repainting, rebuild and refit.
• Complete re-wire of mast
• Complete re-wire of Lazzaette
